Fall Color Changes
Best Drive Ever
Highway 89 to Sedona through Oak Creek Canyon – one of the most beautiful drives in AZ, especially in October as the leaves are turning all shades of sunset. The biggest danger is driving off the road as you rubber neck to see the contrasting colors of leaves set against the incredible rock formations. Heck, this drive is so good, it’s even worth driving up from Phoenix and simply turning around. But then again, why go back?
Lockett Meadow – This beautiful location is loaded with Aspen trees exploding with amazing fall colors. It’s located on the Northeast side of Mt. Humphreys.
Pumpkin Patch Train – Grab the Grand Canyon Railway out of Williams (just 45 minutes from the Cabin) for a fun family experience.
Scenic Chairlift Rides – This is the easy way to see the colors and the view from the highest point in Arizona! Dress warm as it can get cold at the top. There are lots of picnic worth Aspen groves on the way up too. Bring a basket, a blanket and your babe for an afternoon you won’t soon forget.
Here is a list of all October events. Which one are YOU going to share with your friends or family?
