Aspen Hideaway was the perfect spot for our family! loved the big yard and big, beautiful, and clean cabin. We'd love to stay again - so many built in nice perks.

We enjoyed our stay here! Plenty of space, a fully stocked kitchen, and great trails nearby. If you’re looking for something off the beaten path, this is a winner!

Wanting to get out of the city and heat , the cabin was just what our group needed. It was peaceful and very quiet. We loved the smell of the fresh air and pine trees, the sound of the rain and thunder as we looked out the huge glass pane windows facing Humphrey's mountain. We enjoyed our walks in the forest. A great place for R&R. Steve was a great host. He contacted us on our arrival to answer any questions we had, but responded quickly when needed. We would stay here again.

Beautiful place. As advertised. The whole family enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Bad cell service but great wifi so you can choose to stay out of reach! Hope I get a chance to go back one day.

We loved the house. It was back a 1.5-mile dirt road so there was very little traffic. We wanted a get away to the middle of nowhere and this was it! We took our side by side out exploring and found some cool trails. We had plenty of room for the 4 of us, but even with a full house there would have been plenty of space for everyone. Our kids spent hours at the pool table and my wife loved drinking her coffee on the back porch each morning. The Aspens were absolutely breathtaking this time of year (early/mid Oct), and we loved spying the deer in the area. As reported, the cell service is minimal, but the Wi-Fi works great (Starlink). Don’t forget to note the Wi-Fi password prior to arrival since you might not be able to pull up your email/websites with such spotty cell service (ask me how I know this one…). We didn’t have any issues with the electricity as others mentioned, but I would say not to expect high water pressure as the house is off grid. Steve was very responsive when we reached out and a great host. While Basha’s is the closest grocery to the house, and on the way if you’re arriving from the south, we found it to be very lacking on selection and quality so we hit the Walmart superstore so we could pick up some firewood and other non-food essentials at the same time.
