November is where fall meets winter in Flagstaff. As it starts to get colder, with the occasional snowstorm, you still need some good ideas on what to see and do in Flagstaff. As you can see from the videos below, there are plenty of family friendly activities to get in the Holiday spirit!
Things to Do in Flagstaff in November:
The Sound of Music – Nov. 8 – 17, 2013 Presented by the Flagstaff Light Opera Company. If only Julie Andrews were still singing in the hills.
The Polar Express – This Grand Canyon Railway special runs from Nov. 8 through Jan 4th. The kids will love this amazing train ride to see Santa!
Turkey Bowling – Nov. 23, 2013 Have you ever bowled with a frozen Turkey? Now is your chance to have a fun time, while helping feed families in need for this Thanksgiving.
NAU Men’s Basketball – Nov. 23rd vs. San Diego Christian. Come experience the fun of small town college sports at the NAU Walkup Skydome.
Holiday Lighting Experience – Nov. 23rd. Presented by the North Pole Experience.
NAU Symphony & Chamber Orchestra Concert – Nov. 24, 2013. Check out this concert put on by the Northern Arizona University School of Music.
November is a great time to visit Flagstaff. You might even get lucky and see some snow, or even a lot of snow! Flagstaff is also a little less crowded in November than during the Christmas holidays, so it’s a great time to fulfill that need to hit the mountains and experience something new and different.
