Want to get spooked? Here are a few places to get in the “spirit” in Flagstaff Arizona.
Viola’s Haunted Garden Oct. 18 & 19, plus Oct. 25 to Nov. 2nd from 7 to 9:30pm
This one is for adults and older kids, but they do have a less hair raising version for the little ones. They have over 20 volunteer actors ready to scare you into November. Part of the proceeds go to charity, so it’s good for your adrenaline as well as your conscious. See the website link for more details.
Halloween Harvest October 31st 4-7pm Heritage Square Downtown Flagstaff.
This one is during the early evening, so it’s very family friendly for kids of all ages.
Here are some of the fun events:
- Arts & Crafts
- Pumpkin Patch & Decorating Pumpkins
- Trick or Treat Trail in Downtown
- Creepy Carnival Games
- Spooky Music
- Freak-town Fashion Show
Halloween Bash October 26 4-7pm Flagstaff Recreation Center.
Ages 2-17. Wear your costume to this free event. It features a cake-walk, carnival games and candy for all!
Want to visit a permanently Haunted House? The old Hotel Monte Vista has long been spooked with ghosts. Of course I recommend just going to the Rendezvous Coffee House and Martini Bar on the first floor. This would be a great spot to see all those costumed up for Halloween! What are you going to wear?
