The Trailside Retreat is the closest, 2 miles from Flagstaff, located right in one of Flagstaff's best neighborhoods just minutes from downtown restaurants, breweries, and shops along Route 66. The Flagstaff Rental Cabin (Kachina Village) and Mountain Air (Mountainaire) are both 7 miles from Flagstaff. The R & R Ranch is our most remote property, located on 20 scenic acres near Williams, AZ — 30 miles from Flagstaff but closer to the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance.

Flagstaff is the perfect base camp for visiting the Grand Canyon and many other iconic Arizona destinations. The Grand Canyon South Rim is about 80 miles north of Flagstaff (roughly a 1.5-hour drive), making it ideal for day trips without needing to stay in the park. Our R & R Ranch near Williams is even closer — just about 60 miles from the South Rim. Beyond the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff is also a great base for Sedona (30 miles south, about 45 minutes), Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend (about 2.5 hours north), Monument Valley (about 3 hours northeast), Meteor Crater (45 minutes east), and Walnut Canyon and Wupatki National Monuments (both within 30 minutes). Many guests use our cabins as home base for a week of exploring all of northern Arizona.

Flagstaff sits at 7,000 feet elevation, so even in summer the nights cool down into the 40s — most evenings you won't need AC at all. Every property has an indoor fireplace for a cozy mountain experience: the Flagstaff Rental Cabin and R & R Ranch have wood-burning fireplaces, while Trailside Retreat and Mountain Air have gas fireplaces. All properties also have ceiling fans and portable fans for additional comfort.
